IR 1000 is equipped with a choice of cellular modem, 12
channel GPS receiver, Ethernet and/or Wi-Fi connectivity,
2 serial and one RS485 ports, CF Card interface and discreet
input lines to monitor parameters as door switch etc.
RS 485 port can provide J1708 or J1939 interface to retrieve
critical vehicle diagnostics information which can help
your service department to assess fleet health and take
appropriate measures before catastrophic failures occur.
IR 1000 can be modified with minimal efforts to implement
soon to be mandated Hours of Service (HoS) by Department
of Transportation. Drivers can enter information on easy
to use touch panel. Entered information can be sent instantly,
as scheduled or on demand. Over the road fleet owners
can rest easy with HoS compliance while lowering costs.
